Børge Mogensen was a Danish furniture designer. In the 1950s he worked as an independent designer and was, among other things, chief designer of the Fredericia Stolefabrik. For this he made his best-known designs: the 22 series of seating furniture, including the 2204 'laenestol' (a 'eared armchair' from 1964) and the 'sofa' 2212, a bench from 1962. His designs are classic, functional and very popular with collectors. .
