Egon Eiermann was a German architect. Inspired by the furniture designs of Charles and Ray Eames, he developed a series of simple and practical pieces in Germany. One of the chairs he designed in 1951 is the SE68. With its minimalist design and comfortable seat, the chair has remained popular in Germany to this day. De Machinekamer regularly features vintage Eiermann chairs in its collection.
