The Danish Designer Poul Kjærholm
The Danish designer Poul Kjærholm was a highly skilled carpenter and studied at the Danish School of Arts and Crafts. His innovative designs in steel, cane, and leather marked a significant departure from the Danish tradition of wooden furniture. In 1955, Poul Kjærholm began his collaboration with manufacturer Kold Christensen. In 1982, Fritz Hansen took over production.
