Looking for unique design furniture near Amsterdam? At De Machinekamer in Zaandam you’ll find a spacious 1030 m² showroom, filled with a mix of vintage and new design pieces.

After starting out in a rural building and later moving into the former Bruynzeel garage, we are now located at Pieter Ghijsenlaan 12b. An ideal spot, right in the home furnishing district of Zaandam and close to other inspiring interior stores.

Our building combines an industrial character with a contemporary interior – the perfect setting to showcase our collection. The showroom is easily accessible by car and public transport, with free parking available on the side, inside the gate.

Unique collection of design classics

We can rightly call ourselves a tubular frame specialist. The tubular frame chair is still prominently present at De Machinekamer. In addition to the tubular frame chairs, we have a large collection of design classics and also an ever-growing collection of new design furniture. We have re-released or developed this collection of new design furniture ourselves. Characteristic is the high quality and the refined finish. We call that Machinekamer-worthy.
