Showroom full of vintage and new design furniture in Utrecht

In addition to our main showroom in Zaandam, De Machinekamer has also had a spacious store in Utrecht since September 2020. Located in a beautiful 1960s building – carefully restored to its former glory after an extensive renovation – you’ll find a bright showroom of 650 m². Here we showcase a wide collection of both new and vintage design furniture.

With growing interest from all over the country, a second location was a logical step. And since May 2025, we have even opened a third showroom in the heart of Rotterdam. This way, you can now discover our collection of vintage and new design across multiple locations in the Netherlands..

Unique collection of design classics

We can rightly call ourselves a tubular frame specialist. The tubular frame chair is still prominent at De Machinekamer. In addition to the tubular frame chairs, we have a large collection of design classics and an ever-growing collection of new design furniture. We have re-released this collection of new design furniture or developed it ourselves. Characteristic is the high quality and the refined finish. We call that engine room-worthy.
