Vacancy Furniture assembler / Warehouse employee

To strengthen our team we are looking for a practical and accurate team member. In the assembly department you will work on finishing chairs and stools. With care and precision you mount the seat and back panels onto the chair frames. You work neatly but also know how to keep up the pace.

You will also support the warehouse team. There you help manage incoming and outgoing goods and occasionally assist with delivering furniture. You handle furniture carefully when lifting it or when moving it with a forklift or reach truck.

The work takes place during weekdays in our warehouse in Westzaan. For furniture deliveries you are occasionally available on Saturdays.

What we ask:

• Experience in a similar role is a plus
• Independent and proactive work attitude
• You work accurately while maintaining speed
• Good command of the Dutch language
• You are physically able to lift furniture
• In possession of a driving licence B and preferably a forklift or reach truck certificate
• Customer friendly and solution oriented attitude
• Occasionally available on Saturdays
• Living in the Westzaan area

In de loop van de jaren zijn we ons ook gaan toeleggen op het ontwerpen van nieuwe meubels en het opnieuw uitbrengen van oude ontwerpen. Merken van De Machinekamer zijn o.a. Sav & Økse, Galvanitas Compass Collection, Tubax en Dykmeyer. De Machinekamer heeft sinds 2016 een showroom in Zaandam en sinds 2020 ook een showroom in Utrecht. Begin 2025 openden we een nieuwe showroom in Rotterdam. Onze meubels worden nationaal en internationaal verkocht aan consumenten en zakelijke klanten. De Machinekamer bestaat uit een divers team van circa 35 personen.
