Vacancy Warehouse employee (m/f)

To strengthen our team, we are looking for an independent warehouse employee. In this role, you are partly responsible for incoming and outgoing goods, simple assembly tasks, and delivering furniture to customers.

You handle furniture with care, either by lifting it safely or moving it using a forklift or reach truck.

Your tasks

• Receiving, checking and organizing incoming goods
• Picking and preparing outgoing goods for shipment
• Handling additional simple administrative tasks
• Helping maintain order and cleanliness in the warehouse
• Simple assembly work
• Delivering furniture to customers 

We ask:

• Work experience in a similar position is a plus
• Independent and proactive working attitude
• You work accurately while maintaining speed
• Good command of the Dutch language
• You are physically able to lift furniture
• In possession of a valid category B driving licence and preferably a forklift/reach truck certificate
• Customer-friendly and solution-oriented attitude
• Occasionally available on Saturdays
• Living in the Westzaan area

De Machinekamer is in 2006 opgericht en richtte zich oorspronkelijk op vintage meubels. In de loop van de jaren zijn we ons ook gaan toeleggen op het ontwerpen van nieuwe meubels en het opnieuw uitbrengen van oude ontwerpen. Merken van De Machinekamer zijn o.a. Sav & Økse, Galvanitas Compass Collection, Tubax en Dykmeyer. De Machinekamer heeft sinds 2016 een showroom in Zaandam en sinds 2020 ook een showroom in Utrecht. Begin 2025 openden we een nieuwe showroom in Rotterdam. Onze meubels worden nationaal en internationaal verkocht aan consumenten en zakelijke klanten. De Machinekamer bestaat uit een divers team van circa 35 personen.
