Vacancy Administrative Assistant
Location Westzaan (16–24 hours)
We are looking for an independent and accurate administrative employee for accounts payable and accounts receivable. You check and process every incoming invoice. You investigate irregularities and missing information on your own. This includes contact with suppliers, colleagues and customers. Part of accounts receivable is keeping track of payments and sending payment reminders. Each week you send orders to suppliers and check their order confirmations. You make sure deliveries arrive on time. You work in a small team, carrying out your tasks independently. With your organisational skills, you keep processes running smoothly, maintain a clear overview and initiate improvements when needed.
Requirements:
- A relevant completed MBO/HBO education
- At least one year of relevant work experience in a similar role
- Experience with Logictrade and Snelstart is an advantage
- You are reliable and work accurately
- A self-sufficient and proactive work attitude, with a focus on solutions and overview
- Good command of the Dutch language
- You live in the Westzaan region

About De Machinekamer
De Machinekamer was founded in 2006 and originally focused on vintage furniture. Over the years, we expanded into designing new furniture and reissuing classic designs. Brands by De Machinekamer include Sav & Økse, Galvanitas Compass Collection, Tubax and Dykmeyer. De Machinekamer has had a showroom in Zaandam since 2016 and opened a showroom in Utrecht in 2020. In early 2025, we opened a new showroom in Rotterdam. Our furniture is sold nationally and internationally to both consumers and business clients. De Machinekamer is a diverse team of around 35 people.
