In our warehouse full of furniture we have an internship for an MBO student Logistics employee or Logistics Teamleader. You run the warehouse together with the logistics employee. You make sure that everything runs smoothly and goes out the door on time.

Activities

  • Provides for the receipt, storage, collection and preparation of goods for shipment.
  • Ensures that the right things are in the right place at the right time
  • Drives a forklift and/or reach truck (if you have the necessary certificates for this)
  • Checks goods for quality and reports deviations
  • Performs simple assembly work
  • Goes on the road as a driver or co-driver to deliver or collect furniture

We ask:

  • MBO Logistics Employee or Logistics Team Leader Student
  • Physically able to lift furniture
  • Carefully and accurately
  • You are solution-oriented and think proactively about improvements
  • Living in the Zaanstad area

OVER DE MACHINEKAMER

De Machinekamer is in 2006 opgericht en richtte zich oorspronkelijk op vintage meubels. In de loop van de jaren zijn we ons ook gaan toeleggen op het ontwerpen van nieuwe meubels en het opnieuw uitbrengen van oude ontwerpen. Merken van De Machinekamer zijn o.a. Sav & Økse, Galvanitas Compass Collection, Tubax en Dykmeyer. De Machinekamer heeft sinds 2016 een showroom in Zaandam en sinds 2020 ook een showroom in Utrecht. Begin 2025 openden we een nieuwe showroom in Rotterdam. Onze meubels worden nationaal en internationaal verkocht aan consumenten en zakelijke klanten. De Machinekamer bestaat uit een divers team van circa 35 personen.
