The AP41 design chair by Theo Tempelman is another gem in our collection of designer furniture. Tempelman designed the AP41 and the AP43 (with armrests) in 1960 for AP Originals. This model was only produced for a short time, but the reissue by De Machinekamer brings the chair back to life. And rightfully so, as it is a light and airy chair that feels equally at home at the dining table or in professional environments.
The AP41 is sleek and a prime example of simplicity, but don’t mistake that for dullness. Just look at all the curved lines and the combination of different materials. The tubular frame is powder-coated with a subtle texture, and the curved backrest is available in oak or walnut wood. The seat can be upholstered upon request. The AP41 is simply a delightful design chair: modest yet comfortable – just the way we like it.
