Sales Advisor Vacancy

About the position

For our showrooms in Zaandam, Utrecht and Rotterdam, we are looking for enthusiastic sales advisors (m/f) to work at weekends. In addition to your regular weekend shifts, you may occasionally work extra hours during holidays, staff absences or busy periods. You will apply for one specific showroom and work at one location.

You are the main point of contact for our customers. You provide friendly and knowledgeable advice, proactively identifying customers' needs and responding to them in the right way. With your knowledge of our materials and products, you inform customers about the available options. Your responsibilities also include administrative tasks, such as preparing sales orders and quotations. Together with your colleagues, you make sure our showroom always looks its best.

What we are looking for:

• You are presentable, sociable and customer-focused
• You are a good listener and enjoy helping customers find the right solution
• Good command of the Dutch language
• An interest in interiors and designer furniture
• Sales experience, preferably in furniture or interiors, is an advantage
• You are available on Saturdays and/or Sundays

De Machinekamer is in 2006 opgericht en richtte zich oorspronkelijk op vintage meubels. In de loop van de jaren zijn we ons ook gaan toeleggen op het ontwerpen van nieuwe meubels en het opnieuw uitbrengen van oude ontwerpen. Merken van De Machinekamer zijn o.a. Sav & Økse, Galvanitas Compass Collection, Tubax en Dykmeyer. De Machinekamer heeft sinds 2016 een showroom in Zaandam en sinds 2020 ook een showroom in Utrecht. Begin 2025 openden we een nieuwe showroom in Rotterdam. Onze meubels worden nationaal en internationaal verkocht aan consumenten en zakelijke klanten. De Machinekamer bestaat uit een divers team van circa 35 personen.
