Just a 15-minute drive from Amsterdam, you’ll find our showroom in Zaandam at Pieter Ghijsenlaan 12b. In the 1030 m² ground floor showroom, you can explore a wide collection of vintage and new design chairs, sofas, cabinets, tables and lamps.

In the showroom you’ll find vintage chairs, armchairs, sofas, cabinets and tables from the 1930s through the 1980s. We are passionate about Scandinavian, Dutch and industrial design. You’ll also come across beautiful pieces by well-known designers such as Gispen, Artifort, Vitra and Eames, as well as a curated selection of used design furniture from the 21st century.

Reissues and new design furniture

De Machinekamer holds the exclusive license to reissue several well-known and lesser-known design classics, such as the Galvanitas S16. Using the original molds, you get an authentic design in a fresh new edition. We also design new furniture inspired by classic designs, but with a contemporary look. Think of chairs, sofas, stools and tables that meet today’s needs while preserving the spirit of the past.

Free parking is available on the side, inside the gate. If you come by public transport, get off at Zaandam station. From there it’s about a 20-minute walk to the showroom.
