De Machinekamer is a store full of vintage and new design furniture. On a 15 minute drive from Amsterdam, in the old Bruynzeel factory in Zaandam, you will find de store. Three floors full of vintage and new design chairs, couches, cupboards, tables and lamps.
Vintage design furniture
In the store you will find, amongst others, vintage chairs, armchairs, couches, cupboards and tables from the 30s to the 80s. We love Scandinavian, Duch and industrial design. Beautiful designs from famous designers are in our store, such as Gispen, Artifort, Vitra en Eames.
Reissues & new design furniture
De Machinekamer has the exclusive license to reissue various furniture classics such as the Galvanitas S16. Using the old moulds, we create a new edition of the original design. Aside from that, we design new furniture ourselves, inspired by old designs and with a fresh and contemporary look. Chairs, couches, stools and tables that meet the needs of today, but with the design of older days.
