Pierre Paulin (Paris 1927 – Montpellier 2009) was a French designer. His work has won many prizes, including the American Industrial Design Award. Paulin's designs can be admired in various museums around the world. His designs from the sixties and seventies are still part of Artifort's permanent collection.

Pierre Paulin designed this Tongue Lounge Chair in 1967 for Artifort. A contemporary design, clear and expressive armchair. Artifort stands for Art & Comfort. The Tongue Chair also belongs to the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York and many other museums from around the world.
