Eero Saarinen

Designer at Knoll

Eero Saarinen - son of Eliel Saarinen - is a Finnish-American architect and industrial designer from the 20th century. He is known for his organic designs. He had a close relationship with former fellow students Charles and Ray Eames and became good friends with Florence Knoll. As a designer for Knoll, Saarinen designed (among other things) the well-known Tulip chairs and tables. Many of Saarinen's designs are still being produced.
